Sangkhlaburi must be one of the most scenic towns in Thailand. There’s the lake and, above all, there is the Mon hand-made bridge. So why not start the day slow sipping coffee with a view? That’s what I did at L&T Arabica, located on a hillside just next to the Red Bridge, and offering views on the omnipresent Mon bridge.
As almost always in Thailand, it’s fine to walk into a joint with food or snacks you bought somewhere else, so I finished my banana roti (first ever!) as I waited for my Americano yen mai nam dtaam (iced, no sugar).
Now I am ready – so bring on the rest of the day!
